I hope this message finds you well. As we move through September, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving.

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

This week officers conduct a Warrant at local Store that had intelligence for selling nitrous oxide canisters to children. Officers successfully conducted the warrant with trading standards and found boxes of nitrous oxide canisters and illegal cigarettes. The owner and store worker were arrested for possession of bladed article and nitrous oxide canisters, and both were charged for the offences. 

Next good news officers came across offender who had been spotted by PCSO’s, and the offender was seen shopping by PCSO’s. Officers checked the offender details and turns out they were wanted for outstanding offences. The offender was arrested for theft from stores and arrested for the outstanding offences. 

 This week PCSO’s started their first junior PCSO’s programme with future young members who are wanting to become future PCSO’s with West Midlands Police. Great starting point for junior members. 

Manor farm Resident meeting happened this week to discuss local issues that are affecting the are local area. 

Several traffic offences tickets were issued this week for school parking, Yardley Primary, Holy family Primary school and Gilbertson primary school.
